His Uncle Gary is standing by me.
Carter is the son of Steve and Natalie.
Here he is with his Mom and Dad and 3 siblings, Kelsey, Cortney, and Kimble.

Day 33 since Walt fell and broke his left hip.
Day 9 home from rehab
Walt had physical therapy again today...
Walt took a photo of Max curled up in Grama A's pink rocker chair.
Janie was planning to come down from Rexburg but called mid-morning to tell  us she was behind on several things--I think it's mostly getting all the details done for their big production next weekend of "Dancing With The Stars."
            So she  won't be coming.
Also they are not doing Thanksgiving in Rexburg.
They will have a big one next year -- 2019 -- when Sam is home from his mission.

So we will have Thanksgiving here with Gary.  I called my sister to see what she and Jeff had planned for Thanksgiving.  They had nothing specific, so we are thrilled they will be coming to our home to enjoy turkey and trimmings with Gary and us as we all did last year.

We spent the rest of this Friday, Nov 9 of 2018 listening to our Sibling Book Club book Educated: A Memoir by Tara Westover.  Here is a photo of her:

SUNDAY, NOVMBER 11, 2018
Day 35 since Walt fell and broke left hip.
Day 11 home from rehab.

We are thankful for all who have made and kept our country free and strong.  My Daddy was not accepted by the army because he had flat feet. (They erroneously thought in those days that men with flat feet would not be able to do all the marching that was required.)  So he moved from Idaho to California to work in the ship yards in Long Beach to build war ships for the cause.)

Our Saratoga Springs 3rd Ward Primary Program was today.
It is the last one for Maddie (she turns 12 next May and will be in Young Women's).  She had a long introduction part and did it all from memory!  Rigdon has been saying his part all week: "Jesus created day and night."  He was almost too shy to go up with the other primary kids, but at age 4, he learned he can do hard things and said his part perfectly.
We got a photo of Julie taking a
photo of her two primary kids.
Walt was only up to staying for Sacrament
Meeting today. Then after a nap, we
enjoyed John's delicious Sunday roast beef dinner.
Our good friend, D. Kelly Ogden came to
see us this afternoon. What a wonderful
time we had talking about our
year together in Central America when
he was president of the MTC in Guatemala
and we helped him and his wife Marcia
at the Guatemala MTC. (2006)
(We were there Mar 2005 to Feb 2007.)
(President and Sister Ogden were there
Jan. 2006 to Jan. 2008.)
He is now one of the Book of Mormon
scholar advisors for the new series of films
being made by the Church
about the entire Book of Mormon.

As the sun sets on this Veteran's Day,
we hope each of you have had a restful and peaceful Sabbath Day.

We are thankful for the freedoms we have and for everyone who has helped make and keep us free.
I liked these two quotes from LDS Quotes - What matters most.
(to be added)

We testify of these truths:
Heavenly Father lives and loves       each one of us.

Jesus Christ is the first-born spirit child of Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, and the Only Begotten Son who came to earth to become our Savior.  He loved us so much that He gave His Life for us. Because of His Atonement we can be forgiven when we repent of our sins and have the hope of Eternal Life.  He is the Redeemer of All.

Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the  Restorer of All Things.   He was directed by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to Restore The Church of Jesus Christ in this Dispensation. Jesus Christ directed that it be called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for the entire world.

The Bible is the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon is true and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true Church on the earth today.

Of these truths we testify, in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
