SATURDAY, JULY 2, 2022 Family is Everything… Steve had me come tojoin their special day at their home.Natalie hasn't seen her sisterQuinette who goes by "Q"for 7 years.Brian and Q live in Australia withtheir three children:Cameron, Jessica, and Becca.They did a family workout atCrossfit starting at noon.Steve picked me up for theirfamily BBQ following that.Oh, they did some knife throwingat a target Carter and Steve made.

Lunch was a choice ofhamburgers or hot dogs,and all the fixins...including lots of fruit,of which the fresh cherrieswere so fun because we onlyget them during the Fourth of July time.
I guess no one got aphoto of the slip 'n slide time.
Kuub was a slow-moving game,but fun for the team that could knock the mostkuubs down by throwingsticks at them.Madasta had a good aim,as did Cortney.
Super ball was intense.
Knife throwing was popularthroughout the day.
So fun to see Kelsy and Joshand their new addition.
Ice cream cones were awelcome treat on a hot day...mid-way between lunch and supper.
Supper was moreBBQ - wings, and alsopulled pork, with yummysalads and fruit,topped off with a choiceof desserts:apple pie with ice cream,or brownies, etc.
Natalie has a friend whohelped her choose terrificfireworks!
The celebration was toppedoff with a perfect fire pitwhere the coals were just rightfor roasting marshmellowsto melt the chocolatefor S'mores.
Then it was all too soon forthe sad goodbyes...
Who knows when the Armstrongs canmake that 30-hour flight again to returnto see family and friends in the U.S.A.?
Steve got me home justa few minutes before midnight...so our coach didn't turninto a pumpkin.
