Family is Everything…
Carter was set apart as a
missionary for
The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints tonight
by President Tom Tillman.
Three of Carter's very close
friend came to tell him
Goodbye...
Friends--as well as family--
are forever.
These priesthood brethren were
in the circle when Carter became
"Elder S. Carter Petersen,
Missionary for The Church
of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints.
Family who were able to
come to support Carter ashe became "Elder Petersen."
Steve and Natalie--his Dad and Mom,
Kelsey and Josh, his sister and
brother-in-law,
Cortney, his sister,
Kimble, his brother,
plus Grampa 'n Grama Petersen.
We had Family Home Evening
for the neighborhood at
the HOA Clubhouse,
featuring Doug Wyler...
our FHE group.
doing archeology. He had wonderful
slides of their trip to Egypt and
showing places there that had
depictions of temple ordinances.
The total list of who was able to
come tonight from our FHE group.
Kaye Wyler, Walt and Eileen Petersen, Allen and Jennie Andersen, Linda Hartley,
Andrew Fletcher, Nadine and

Julie and John's tradition is to serve scones
on Halloween night. They start them raising
about two o'clock
Ready to deep fry the scones...
Bec.ause it was only in the 30's...Julie and John
thought not as many would come out as in
previous Halloweens, so Julie only had 217
scones ready to fry. Last year they gave out
288 scones. Tonight they ran out by 7:30.
To which Julie posted "Boo!" on facebook.
We enjoyed hanging out in the garage
watching the neighbor kids and their
parents dressed in fun costumes...

Family is Everything...
We went to the blessing of
Madelyn Josephine Rohrer,
the new daughter of our missionary, Thomas Rohrer.
It's always great to be with our missionaries.

We came home to another delicious Sunday
dinner cooked by John.
Everyone was excited to have Jackson back home from
his Westlake Thunder Marching Band Regional Competition in San Antonio, Texas. He said the
best part was the band performing! (I didn't get a photo.)

We are so thankful for The Plan of Salvation
and the Atonement of Jesus Christ
that makes this Great Plan operational.
At the end of this November 3rd,
we pray you have had a
restful , peaceful, and spiritual
Sabbath Day...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence. He loves us just as we are at this very moment.
