On this blog I share with family and friends my daily thoughts, doings, what interests me, and--at times--tributes to my eternal sweetheart, Walt, who graduated to heaven on 8-21-2020.

Dedicated to our seven children--Janie, Gary, Steve, David, Julie, Brian, Jen, their spouses, our 39 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and posterity to come.

Deciding which noir movie to watch.
Gary is in Sacramento for his work. I googled noir movies and got really wierd current ones--lmostly rated R. So I googled "best noir movies of the1940s"' and got
"White Heat" with James Cagney as one.
Then I read about his life...
born in July 1899, died in March 1986 at age 86. Married to "Billie" Vernon from 1922 till he died. He loved to farm...had two farms--one at Martha's vineyard, and one in New York.**

If it has been at least 2 months since you completed your COVID-19 primary series or had your last booster, then you are eligible for an updated vaccine.
I saw this while I was waiting at Costco to get the Pfizer booster.
The pharmacist said they
had just gotten this new booster vaccine a couple of weeks ago.

I had tried--for the second time--last week at Walmart and they still didn't have it in.**

Today I've been catching my blog up to date. I had not finished my post for Sunday, Sep 11, for our SS 3 Ward Street Snack evening. It has been a fun way to see where ward members live, and get to now them better. It will resume next summer.
