Last Institute Class for

Camie Williams is our teacher.
"
"The Parable of the Vine and Branches"

Camie had just cut that branch
from her apricot tree before she
came to class.
The framed painting is called
"The Parables"
by James C. Christensen
(description below painting)

Creation Date – James C. Christensen    5-1999

"Few of us remember all of Jesus’ parables; it seems each time I read the New Testament, it’s a matter of rediscovery. I’ll come upon a certain parable and find it has new meaning and relevance to my life. That’s why I thought I would gather several parables together in one image and create an opportunity for viewers to recall and share them. I worked closely with my friend Robert Millet, Dean of Religious Studies at Brigham Young University, in selecting these twelve and we feel that each conveys a special aspect of Jesus’ teachings. I always hope my work fosters not only contemplation and personal reflection, but also a sharing of experiences. I’d be delighted if this print inspired you to talk about these stories with your children or grandchildren.” Artist Statement

The twelve parables of Jesus pictured in this painting are as follows: The Sower, The House Upon the Rock, The Pharisee and the Publican, The Importunate Friend, The Lost Coin, The Prodigal Son, The Good Samaritan, The Good Shepherd, The Rich Fool, The Ten Virgins, The Talents, and The Sheep and the Goats.

I found the painting on line to put a clear picture here of it, but it is copyrighted. The 19x25 painting originally sold for $180, but now it is $680.                                                 If you click on each picture,                     they will enlarge to be                                 able to read.

♪♪♫Moonlight Becomes You Lyrics♪♪♫♪

Moonlight becomes you, it goes with your hair
You certainly know the right thing to wear
Moonlight becomes you, I'm thrilled at the sight
And I could get so romantic tonight

You're all dressed up to go dreaming
Now don't tell me I'm wrong
And what a night to go dreaming
Mind if I tag along?

If I say I love you
I want you to know
It's not just because there's moonlight
Although, moonlight becomes you so

[Instrumental Break]

You're all dressed up to go dreaming
Now don't tell me I'm wrong
And what a night to go dreaming
Mind if I tag along?

If I say I love you
I want you to know
It's not just because there's moonlight
Although, moonlight becomes you so

** *I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation and the Atonement of  Jesus Christ that makes this Great Plan operational.
At the end of this May 29th,

I pray you have had a

restful , peaceful, and spiritual

Sabbath Day...

I share these truths as my testimony to you...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.

Jesus Christ came to earth as The Only Begotten of the Father and fulfilled the Atonement. He is the Redeemer of all.

Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.
Daily Scripture: I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. - Joseph Smith-History 1:16
Daily Quote: The revelations poured out upon Joseph Smith affirm that he was a prophet of God. - Lawrence E. Corbridge

President Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for all the world.
*** *** ***
The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
*** *** ***
The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.
*** *** ***

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.

Of these truths I testify in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
