                       Family is Everything...                                                   Ladies' Lunch was at the Thai Village 

in American Fork

 The seven who could come today are clockwise:

Eileen, Linda, Carol, Judy,

Sharon, Sandi, Tammy.

 Judy took a photo for me of 

her chicken dish with that pretty flower.

Sharon and I got sweet 'n sour chicken,

and Linda got cashew chicken.

I didn't get a photo of the other dishes...

Tammy liked her Pineapple curry chicken.

I didn't know what Sandi and Carol ordered.

Linda said: "I'm never overly excited to come here,

and then my food is always delicious!"

One of the gals took a photo with me in it,

Wednesday movie night with my son, Gary.

The movie we chose was about the Olympics...

"Race"

from 2016 about Jesse Owens and his

going to the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.

It was available from Prime/Amazon

streaming for $1.99 rental.

We liked it a lot. We had known about 

Jesse Owens' gold medals but didn't

know all that went on before or after the

Olympics. And the saddest of all was that

even after his great success at these Olympics

and being so popular with the people, he was

never accepted by the society as a whole and

could only get odd jobs for the rest of his life.

Thanks for coming over for movie night, Gary.
