Family is Everything…

One month since Walt passed away...                                                                                     It seems long, yet like yesterday. It's lonesome without him, yet he is not suffering and unable to do all the things he loved to do... Here's a favorite photo of him with his dog Peggy, when he was 4 or 5 years old.

This shows the freckle on Walt's face.

This shows more of Peggy.

Here are other photos I have saved in the computer: There's a photo of Walt with his Grampa Bide, both in their gum boots. Bide would let his young grandson walk to the Slaughter House with him--which was by the cemetery, about 4-6 block from his home--where one of the jobs Bide had was to inspect the meat.
One time--in recent years--when we were at the cemetery, Walt had me take a photo of him by this same Slaughter House (not being used anymore as you can see).

President Hinckley came to our mission in Nov 1997.
We were his last stop on that trip the Prophet made
through South Mexico, and the next year small temples
were begun in several of those places he visited,
including Merida, Mexico.
He wanted to go to Chichen Itza because he
had read a book about "the sacred well" when he
was a boy and had always wanted to see it.
In the photo he came over to shake Walt's hand
because someone told him that was the president
of the Mexico Merida Mission.
That night at the gathering of 10,000 saints, the
Prophet said: "How sad Father Lehi must have been
when he saw his posterity killing the
winners of those ball games at Chichen Itza,
plus throwing the young virgins off those pyramids.
But how happy he is tonight to see all of you at
this gathering of the saints."
Nov 1997 - My Mom, Verna Albertson,
Walt's sister Phyllis, and brother Dale, came
to the Mexico Merida Mission to see us.
We had a stake conference in Chetumal which was
a 4-hour drive, near the border of Belize.

Walt was partners with Newel Nelson and
one other person of this Cessna 206 turbo-engine*

their shares to Bill. Sometimes Walt would
just go out to the hangar to look at it.
One of the things he missed most was not
being able to pilot this plane after he could
no longer pass the medical exam to fly.

Today on the Zoom Worship Service Daphne Blackburn
spoke before leaving on her Nebraska Omaha Mission.
Her Dad also spoke - both were given the topic of
Personal Revelation.
John and Jackson blessed and passed the Sacrament
at home today.
I worked on some family history.

*** *I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation
and the Atonement of  Jesus Christ
that makes this Great Plan operational.
At the end of this September 27th,
I pray you have had a
restful , peaceful, and spiritual
Sabbath Day...
I share these truths as my testimony to you...
Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.

Jesus Christ came to earth as The Only Begotten of the Father and fulfilled the Atonement. He is the Redeemer of all.
*** *** ***
Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.
*** *** ***
President Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for all the world.
*** *** ***
The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
*** *** ***
The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.
*** *** ***
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.

Of these truths I testify in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I didn't get a photo taken of me today, but since it
was evidently "Daughter's Day" a couple days ago...
here's one of me with my three daughters from Aug 2014:
