I wrote thank-you notes...

I looked through the Memorial Monuments book to try to

decide what to have on our headstone.

I think one similar to my folks' headstone...

 ,,,or my grandparent's headstone that is

next to my folks' headstone would be good.

I think that Walt's Dad and Mom's headstone is a little larger.

I found a photo of Bonnie's headstone.

This is Walt's sister. Phyllis couldn't say

LaVon, so called her "Bonnie," and that's

what she went by her whole life.

My kids and I have talked about having the medical caduceus

for Walt and a camera for me. 

Most people think this is the medical caduceus, with

two snakes entwined around a staff with winged top.

But the real symbol is called the 

"Rod of Asclepius or Eslapius" 

(However, our younger

grandkids won't know what an old-fashioned camera is.)

 Today we drove around the Saratoga Springs Temple

that is being built. The groundbreaking was

Oct 19, 2019. The projected dedication date

is October or November 2021.

I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation

and the Atonement of  Jesus Christ

that makes this Great Plan operational.

At the end of this September 13th,

I pray you have had a

restful , peaceful, and spiritual

Sabbath Day...

I share these truths as my testimony to you...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.

Jesus Christ came to earth as The Only Begotten of the Father and fulfilled the Atonement. He is the Redeemer of all.

Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.

President Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for all the world.

The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.

Of these truths I testify in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

 This is a photo of me in 1964 at age 25, with Mary Jane, age 1 1/2, just before we flew to Hawaii to meet Walt after he had been three months on the Coast Guard Cutter Chatauqua as their ship physician. We took a four generation photo with my Grandmother Ella Morris Huffaker, at age 73, and my mother Verna Huffaker Albertson, age 44, in Gooding, Idaho.
