The film is notable for its screenplay, especially the repartee between Grant and Hepburn, for having been filmed on location in Paris, for Henry Mancini's score and theme song... and was additionally noted to contain influences of genres such as whodunit, screwball comedy and spy thriller. Family is Everything...
Brian and Jennifer came to see
us this morning. They landed
at the Salt Lake Airport last night
about 9:30 and got to
Steve and Natalie's home
about 10:30
Brian greeted Marci in Spanish.
Marci came to help
Walt start his day.
Brian and Jennifer brought in
lunch for us...
...Gary, Rigdon and Jacee.
I didn't get a photo of Jacee and Riggy.
Thanks, Brian and Jennifer
for breakfast, lunch...
and later supper.
It's so wonderful to have you here!
We didn't know how to plan the afternoon,
since Walt needed to have a nap.
We didn't know how long he would
sleep, so we didn't know how to
plan the rest of the day.
Walt slept for about 3 hours...
...so Brian and Jennifer brought supper in
early evening about six o'clock.
There was a mix up that we thought
Gary was with Isaac.
When we found out he wasn't, we thought
Gary was coming over, but
it didn't work out.
What a great time to have
Brian and Jennifer
join in these family gatherings!
John took our group photo,
then I got a photo of
John and Rigdon.
Julie, Jackson and Maddie
were at the ward Youth Conference.
Jacee was at a Ballroom youth gathering.
Then it was time for
Brian and Jennifer to head
back to Steve and Natalie's.
They're coming by to tell us
goodbye in the morning before
they head to the Salt Lake Airport
for their flight back.
We hadn't been with
Brian and Jennifer since the
WEPR family reunion last June.
Brian and Jen, we have loved
being with you!

Family is Everything...
Brian and Jen came over to be with
us before they had to head to
the Salt Lake Airport for their
flight back.
When Julie and John got
here from Church, they
got to see
Brian and Jen.
We have loved being with
Brian and Jen Saturday
and for a little while this morning.
Goodbye,Brian and Jen.
We hope your flight back is safe.
(Brian texted at 4:35 that they had
safely landed. Thanks for letting
us know, Brian.)
We enjoy being together.
Another delicious Sunday dinner
Our four children who live here...
(Gary, Steve, and Julie are
within 15 minutes of each other.
David is about 25 minutes away.)
...were going to take turns having
us come to dinner with them
one Sunday each month, however,
because of my diabetes I couldn't
wait for different dinner schedules.
Therefore, it evolved that each family
would prepare a nice dessert for
us on different Sundays.
Today was Gary's turn.
He brought three kinds of pie
for us to do a "taste test on."
Walt liked the cookies 'n cream best,
Gary liked the lemon meringue best,
and I like the key lime best.
Thanks, Gary, for a delicious dessert.
Gary said that next Sunday is
David and Julie's turn,
then the next Sunday is the
"Sundae Sunday" when all
four families get together.
Gary furnished the dessert at
February's Sundae Sunday...where
he had 13 different flavors of
Ben 'n Jerry's ice cream for
a taste test.
(He said it was when Smith's
had Ben 'n Jerry's at half price.)
See last week's blog for all the
flavors he brought.
