Family is Everything…
It was great to get to see
Audrey and Ken, and
their dau Kim, and
her husband Larry when
we first got there.
We also got to see Jean
and Lareen, but I didn't
get to take a photo of them.
We love Uncle Stan and
Aunt Vida's kids.
Maurene was married to
Glen Carlson before he
died when Maurene was 60.
Glen was Vida's brother.
We went to see Walt's
She is a sweetheart
and so vivacious.
She went up in a hot air balloon
loved it...
but the zipline she didn't
like so much.
to West Valley City for this
special event..
We listened to the BYU-USC football
game going and coming.
The game tied just as we got home,
so we got to watch the over-time
win. What a surprise!
Does BYU have a good-luck
charm for overtime wins???
In the Saturday evening
session of our
Saratoga Springs Stake Conference
we were reminded to
"illuminate the Light of Christ,"
..."to step up in preparing the
world for the Glorious
Second Coming of the Savior,"
..."to make our homes
as an MTC."

we see that we should be
perfect in mercy and love."

President Beecher taught us to
be kinder to ourselves.
In the Home Centered,

in our homes, he outlined
three steps:
1. There is no set way of
doing this.
It is never too early or never too late to begin.
2. The Holy Ghost carries the truth to the heart.

Kathy Skousen (yes, her husband, Paul,
is the son of Cleone Skousen),
and Leslie Elmer.
The Skousens have just recenlty
moved into this Saratoga Springs
residential area.
