Today we went for a walk just before sunset.

Today this is in the news...
Missionaries Evacuated as Hurricane Nears the US Southeast Coast |
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released this statement on Hurricane Florence:
“Missionaries in the path of Hurricane Florence are taking necessary precautions to remain safe as the storm prepares to make landfall. Missionaries serving in coastal areas are being moved to safe locations with adequate supplies. Mission presidents are instructing missionaries on safety protocols as well as how to offer service in appropriate ways in the aftermath of the storm. The Church continues to monitor conditions on the ground and will make any necessary adjustments as the storm progresses. We pray for the safety and well-being of all those in the path of the hurricane.”
The hurricane is expected to hit the Southeast Coast of the United States later this week. A hurricane warning has been issued for parts of North and South Carolina.

Today we are praying for all who are affected
by Hurricane Florence touching down
in North and South Carolina.And specifically for our friends
Aaron and Heidi Taylor who
live between Wilmington and Jackson,
North Carolina.
Aaron is the son of Ross and Karen Taylor
who lived in Burley from either 1967 or '69
until they moved to Salt Lake Valley in
February 2005.
Aaron is a radiologist in the Navy.
His ranking is Captain.
Here in Saratoga Springs we just hung out
and got caught up on some things.
But we didn't take any photos.

throughout different areas of the world since 2002 or 2012.

Julie taught the Relief Society Lesson on
"Am I a Child of God?
by Elder Brian K. Taylor from
April 2018 General Conference.
She facilitated much discussion
from many of the sisters.
We were reinforced that YES, EACH ONE OF US IS
"I am a child of royal birth,
My Father is King of Heaven and Earth.,,"
We had small helpings at dinner
with Julie and John and kids...
...because that evening Gary was
having us come
to dinner with him and two of his kids.

We had spaghetti with meat sauce,
tossed salad, corn, orange fluff salad,
and French bread.
For dessert was chocolate cream pie,
and Oreo cream pie.
For an after-dinner treat,
Isaac had made fudge.
It was all delicious!
Gary, Isaac, Eileen, Walt, McKell
McKell told us about her heavy load starting her senior year at UVU.
She's taking 20 hours. Her major is and Performing Arts.
She has an acting class, a vocal class, a dance class,
an American History class (from Columbus to the 1700's),
a meterology class, and a psychology class which right
now they are studying the anatomy of the brain).
Walt said it made our brains tired just to
think about all the homework for
all these classes
We pray you have had a restful and peaceful Sabbath Day.
We testify that...
Heavenly Father loves us and we are each His spirit children.
He knows us by name and wants us to return to Him and our Heavenly Mother.
