Walt is coming out from physical therapy -- 

the last land one for now.

He will finish this series on Thursday with pool therapy.

 wednesDAY, AUGUST 8, 2018

We did temple sealings at 11a.m. and then did the one 

o'clock endowment session.

We always love being with Dale and Connie.

We have been rendezvousing at the temple most every

Wednesday since April of 2015.

 ThUrSDAY, AUGUST 9, 2018

  

Here's the pool therapy.

It has helped a little in the strength of his legs.

But he thinks they're just too far gone to get much better.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 10, 2018

Kathleen has been such a help on Walt's

Swedish Grandmother Nellie Katie Olson Petersen's line.

Many names are ready to have their temple work done.

This is our last session with her since we are moving next week.

She has come for two hours each Friday for the past

several years -- when she and we were both in town --

which has been most Fridays.

Thank you, Kathleen! 

You are an expert in many things

including family history.

Kathleen received her PhD. degree in history and I forgot

her minor. .. from a University in Indiana. 

Ken Weeks also mowed our lawn this morning.
Our lawn is looking the best it ever has since
Ken began mowing it in the summer of 2015.

 SunDAY, AUGUST 12, 2018

 Our last Sunday in Burley Third Ward 

Two of our Relief Society sisters--Emily and Mandy--along with the rest of us--learned a lot from Ruth Melling's lesson today: "Behold,  A Royal Army" byElder Rasband about the

changes in the Melchizedek Priesthood High Priest and Elders' Quorum joining into one great Quorum.

Our friend and neighbor--David--helped Walt walk down from the Elders' Quorum meeting to the front of the Church.

Really-- Our last Sunday in our Burley Third Ward comes to an end.  We have come to Church in this building for 52 years.

 Marizza came to see us this evening.  She is very sad that we are leaving Burley.  She says we have been like her parents.

Her Dad passed away in 1991 -- 27 years ago.

She wants to come to see us when she is in Utah.  We would

 love that!  We love you, Marizza, and will miss you a lot.

We pray you have had a restful and peaceful Sabbath Day.

We testify that... 

Heavenly Father lives and loves each one of us.  He knows us by name and wants for us to return to Him and our Heavenly Mother.

Jesus Christ is the only Begotten of the Father Who came to earth to live a perfect life and Atone for everything anyone did wrong.  Because of this Atonement all will be resurrected.

And we will be exalted if we repent and Come Unto the Savior.

The Holy Ghost is the Third Member of the Godhead and will reveal all truth to us.

Joseph Smith is the Prophet of the Restoration of the only true Church in these latter days--The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Bible is a Testament of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Christ.

President Russell M. Nelson is the living Prophet for the whole Earth today.

Of these truths we testify in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
