Today Walt

TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2018

Today Walt had physical therapy.

Relief Society "Fitness" night.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, 2018

Today Walt and I did a session with Dale and Connie at the Twin Falls Temple.

(will download photos later)

Linda Schiers foot still not completely healed.  We continue to pray for her complete recovery.

Linda Steiner Schiers is feeling bummed.
Footnotes:
Stitches need to stay in for another week, so, no walking boot until then either! 😂😂😂 Small pocket of fluid has developed on right side between ankle wound and top dorsal wound, will re-apply wound vac to see if that will help drain it, and decrease swelling.

Gary did so much to help us Friday and Saturday.  He helped us put flowers on 43 graves -- 27 at the Wendell Cemetery, 11 at the Hagerman Cemetery, and 6 at the Albion Cemetery--known as the Masonic Cemetery or the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

After all the work of Janie, Julie, and Gary sorting everything in the basement...

SATURDAY, MAY 19, 2018

They did so much work, along with Gary, to help clear out 52 years' worth of food storage and bottles and bottles of water.

We are all so grateful for the "ministering" of our ward members who extended the "City Clean Up Day" to include ward members.

After all the work of Janie, Julie, and Gary sorting everything in the basement...

Janie, Gary, and Julie did so much work
Friday and Saturday!
They hardly slowed down for me to get
 any photos of them.

...it was completed by our Elders' Quorum Devin Higgins heading up the crew with his counselor Lydon Crane and Young Men: Brody Jackson, Koby Prescott (and I've got to get the names of the others), along with Dan Murri and Christian Jackson from the Bishopric.
now

Kathy Marker and three of her grandsons also did a lot of help bringing up water and emptying all the bottles.  And our good neighbors David and Kristin Nilsson helped a lot, along with Steve and Sherry Ormond.

Sherry and Steve brought a delicioius lunch over of Sloppy Joes, chips, lemonade and homemade chocolate chip bars.

Ann Harper brought her Dad, Elden Wood, to come to visit with Walt.

Everything was very appreciated!  We were truly ministered to!!

Julie, Rigdon and Max headed back to Utah about 2:30, then Janie headed back to Rexburg at 5:00 as she and Shawn are in charge of a Multi-Stake Dance there tonight.

g

As he was ready to leave this morning, I had him stand by all that's left of our 52-years' worth of food storage....1 box of spaghetti and 4 cases of wheat, plus 4 or 5 tin cans of wheat. Those big tins of wheat are from 1968.
(The best wheat flour is from old wheat freshly ground.)

Gary headed to Utah at  7:20 this morning.  Safe trip, son.  We'll actually see you tonight as we drive to Utah for a morning appointment for me to get my bone density tested at the South Jordan Health Center.  Then Walt has a medical appointment at the UofU Medical Center in the afternoon on Monday.
