Goodbye April
Hello May

MONDAY, APRIL 30, 2018

Today Walt was discharged from the hospital at 1:30.  As we got home, Sherry and Steve Ormond brought us a delicious lunch: homemade chili, homemade rolls, and banana cream pie--also homemade.  They are such wonderful neighbors!

Then Ann Harper brought us a delicious supper: a macaroni-hamburger casserole and a loaf of homemade bread.

We read a chapter from the Book of Mormon for our Family Home Evening, plus watching an NBA playoff game between Phillies and (can't remember right now).

This morning early, our dear friends and neighbors--George and Jacque Gorton pulled their 32 foot 5th wheel and headed to their Wyoming Mormon Trail Mission.  They will be at Martin's Cove for six months - May to October.

We wish them safe travels and good weather in Wyoming.  They will be perfect for that mission, just as they were in their  Greece Cyprus Mission August 2015 to July 2017.
We will miss them a lot!

Today Walt had physical therapy because of his fall in the parking lot at the Church on Sunday.

Then we had Institute at noon starting the Spring/Summer series for Tuesdays on the General Conference talks from April 2018.

Doyle came to repair our dryer and our freezer.  He replaced the heating element.  However, the dryer still isn't working.  I had a load of towels go through two drying cycles and they still are not dry.  Boo Hoo.  I was so hoping I didn't have to climb upstairs to use our old washer/dryer.  Have to call him again.
