The rest of the week - December December 8-14, 2014

I only got Sunday, December 14, 2014 posted for this week.
Now I'll start back on...
December 8 - Monday
We mostly worked at home unpacking some more boxes, and other things around the house.  We drove around trying to find a flocked Christmas tree for our living room.  No luck.
But we did find the little Christmas tree lot behind McDonald's that was selling live Christmas trees.
I don't have a photo there because I had left my camera at home.
While we were buying our tree, our friends--the Lukes--who moved to Murtaugh 20 years ago, came to the same lot.
He said: "Here, let's load you tree into my pickup, then we'll follow you to your home."
   What a serendipity for us!
We were planning to go ask our neighbor, Don Melling, to come back with his pickup to get our tree home.
We enjoyed talking with Gordon and Eola Luke and reminiscing about our days together in the Burley 7th Ward.  Eola and I had our last babies the same month - August 1974.
Then we went to ask Don & Ruth Melling if they knew any place that was selling flocked trees.  After Ruth took some of her delicious, homemade clam chowder to Linda Schiers--who had just had rotator cuff surgery 4 days before, they invited us out to dinner at Steve-o's.  We also enjoy being with them.
December 9, 2014 - Tuesday
(will add more later--got to go to dentist)...
