  MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2022                           Family is Everything…

Dr. David Kimball at

Revere Health Care had my AIC

checked today.

It's down to 7.3 from 7.7

the last two times.

So that's good!

Then I had a filling at the

dentist. A filling had fallen

out, so Dr. Greenwood

didn't even have to drill...

so no deadening shot.

It took about 5 min.

Fun to see photos of

our home at the 

different seasons.

TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2021  

 Family is Everything…

The Other Prodigal

Both sons were estranged.

The Father in this parable

represents our Father in Heaven.

We need to believe Him when

He says that All that He has

is ours. He loves us, just

as the Father in the story

loved both of his sons.

When we are down we

need to arise and go to

the Father to find the

peace we so desperately need.

Press forward on the

Covenant Path.

And to go to the Father

we need to hold on to

the Word = Christ.

Focus on Christ.

Pres. Nelson has asked

us to repent every day. 

Camie always teaches us

more than I have ever

learned about any of the

Parables of Christ.

     Ladies' Lunch was at 

Avenue Bakery in

American Fork today.

We were happy Jeanie

brought her sister.

Faye, Jeanie, Carol,

Sue, Kathie.

Tammy, Sharon, Sandi,

Barbara, Eileen.

You can tell Faye and

Jeanie are sisters.

Twelve were able to

come today

Jackson got to drive

Jacee's car. He said

it's sure jerky compared

to his electric car that

doesn't shift gears.

Today Dr. Jeppson at

Rocky Mountain Eye Care

determined that my 

cataract is advancing 

to the point of needing

surgery. He will have his

office contact me for 

the date to be scheduled.

Gary is so good to drive 

me to these medical appointments.

I know Walt is very happy

with how well our sons and

daughters are taking care

of me since he graduated

to heaven.

Today I worked on my blog

most of the day.

Alan and Jennie Andersen

picked up Linda Hartley,

Jennie's other friend,

Linda from Lehi,

and me

to go to a play at

The Valentine Theater

in American Fork by

the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.

We met Carol Richardson

there after her shift at

the temple.

"Mama Mia!"

The music and singers

were excellent.

was our Area President when we

   served in the South America South

Area--Argentina, Uruguay,

 Paraguay--

as Area Medical Advisor and Assistant

 from September 2008 to March 2010.

My Mom remembered

dance around at school

on May 1st.

 There were 6 testimonies

shared today...

Bishop Roger Cheney,

Nelson Spencer, Dean Fletcher,

Lisa Miller, Rebecca Sterratt,

and Cynthia Vaillancourt.

These great testimonies reaffirmed to

me the truthfulness of the Savior and

His Atonement, His Church, His Prophet,

the Book of Mormon, along with the Bible,

and that Heavenly Father is in the

details of our life~!

The Holy Ghost also testified

of these truths today.

Last year on Sunday, May 2, 2021

Bishop Ted Mardesich

Michael Miller, first counselor

Doug Graham, second counselor

were released after 5 years, and

a new Bishopric was called.

John's father, Brent J. Peterson, 

came from Burley, Idaho, and

gave him a very tender

blessing as he ordained him to

be a High Priest.

Gospel Doctrine was

taught by Clyde Witham.

He is an excellent teacher.

Come, Follow Me 

Lesson 

Brother Witham helped us consider

to think about hard callings

we have been asked to do,

and that the Lord will be

there to help us just as He

helped Moses.

There was a light Spring 

rain as we came out from

Church. It smelled so refreshing!

John prepared another

delicious Sunday 

roast beef dinner.

I got to finally do a

"May Day" basket that

I used to do in Burley at times.

A miracle in our family

was happening at

Stanford Medical Center

today in California.

I will share it on

next week's blog.

** *I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation and the Atonement of  Jesus Christ that makes this Great Plan operational.

I share these truths as my testimony to you...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.

Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.

President Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for all the world.

The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.

Of these truths I testify in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
