I love his quote by Neal A. Maxwell about life in heaven:

“From closing remarks of THINGS AS THEY REALLY ARE: “”Eye hath not seen, nor heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. “. (1Corin 2:9)”

“The best mortal music we have heard will be surpassed by the sounds of celestial chords we shall hear there. The most beautiful art and scenery experienced in the here and now of this earth will have scarcely prepared us for the beauties we shall see then and there... Those who hear the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant” ... can say of their own tiny trek “It is finished. “ and yet so much will have just begun. We will be home, and the promise to us is that God will land our souls “at the right hand of God in the kingdom of Heaven. ..

If we live correctly now, we need not hide our eyes then, for we can with Enos “see His face with pleasure”. Each soul must—now or later—surrender to God. At that moment the universe becomes a vast home, rather than a majestic but hostile maze. Surprisingly, with such surrender comes victory, and never have any received such surrender terms. To yield to Him is to receive ALL that He has!”

           Family is Everything...

Doris Doris                                                                                              This has been a great month on Turner Classic Movies because          "The star of the month is Doris Day!" Ever since I have gone to movies, I've loved Doris Day. Her first movie in 1948 would have come out when I was 9, just before I turned 10 that December. And my favorite movie came out in 1955 "Love Me or Leave Me," in which Doris Day portrayed "Ruth Etting, a singer from the 1920s"--a true story. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it!
When she stopped making movies, she had a TV show from 1968-1973 "The Doris Show."  When our fourth child was born in 1969, Walt brought Mary Jane, Gary, and Steve to the hospital to see their knew baby brother. When we told them his name was going to be David, Steven, age 3 in two months, asked: "Could you name him 'David Doris Day'?"

Sacrament Meeting on Zoom:
Andrew Miller, age 12, talked
about the Good Shepherd.
Alissa Jones spoke about
Becoming a Shepherd,
then Eric Luedtke spoke
also about Shepherding.
He thanked the family in the
ward (they still don't who)
that did the twelve days of Christmas
for them. It really brightened
their holidays.
All the speakers helped us love
The Good Shepherd--
our Savior, Jesus Christ--
even more!

I pray you have had a
restful , peaceful, and spiritual
Sabbath Day...
*I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation and
the Atonement of  Jesus Christ that makes
this Great Plan operational.

I share these truths as my testimony to you...
Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.
*** *** ***
Jesus Christ came to earth as The Only Begotten of the Father and fulfilled the Atonement. He is the Redeemer of all.
*** *** ***
Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.
*** *** ***
President Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for all the world.
*** *** ***
The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
*** *** ***
The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.
*** *** ***
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.

Of these truths I testify in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
