Happy Birthday, Jacee...

...18 today.

...got the Doc Martins!

On our way to Idaho...

stopped off at David and Julie's home...

Will, Sam, and Julie were

there to get their Christmas gifts.

...then we got to stop at my

sister's home in Midvale.

...so great to see Janice and Jeff.

I appreciate Gary driving me.

We can see the Idaho border ahead...

We're in I D A H O . . .

We rendezvoused with Shawn

in Malad at 1:20...

Almost to Rexburg...

Happy to be at Greystone...

...on Summerwood Drive in Rexburg, Idaho...

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2020                        Family is Everything...

The Wedding Day of

Sam a

and Sara

Bishop Bryan Jones asked them

to remember these two things:

1. Always trust each other.

2. Be quick to forgive each

and themselves.

Then, as an Elder in

The Church of Jesus Christ

of Latter-day Saints

he married them for time.

Because of the Covid quarantine

They missed being able to

go to the temple by one day.

They will be sealed when her parents

come from Michigan.

               Olive Garden furnished the food...

                    ...everything was delicious,

                    especially the lasagne.

                  Then the new Mr. and Mrs. Fisher

                   were off into the world...

                                  
                      ...leaving father and mother...

    

                       ...facing their future together.

    

                    Diesel could get out,

                    but not back in...

            ...so Taitum came to his rescue.

                              Ashley was a bridesmaid.

        

                     These soul mates have had

                          many happy times together...

                              ...Mary and Janie.

                          Hours to set up...

                          minutes to take down.

        

                    ...home to put tags on 48 loaves 

                    of homemade banana bread...

        

to take to friends and neighbors.

...everyone helped.

Family is Everything... 

'twas the day before Christmas...

the family gathered...

to decorate cookies...

I enjoyed being a 

part of it all.

   the christmas Eve dinner...

It was time for the Christmas Elf to

pass out the Christmas jammies...

...that are really light brown

   sweats for the gals, except

    Grama got purple ones...

   (because Mrs. Elf--Aimee--

    knew she liked that color).

Janie got a breather after

cooking the Christmas Eve dinner...

Aimee and Michael

will not get a turn being

the "Christmas Elf" for

seven years till it rotates

through the seven siblings.

After caroling at three homes,

it was time for singing some 

Christmas songs at our home...

with Sara at the piano.

The Christ Child's 

holy birth, and that...

...He was born to come

to earth to become our

Savior and Redeemer by...

...fulfilling His Atonement, 

in Gethsemane...

...and on the cross...

...to be Resurrected.

He makes

The Plan of Salvation

operational!

Today we await 

                                  His Glorious Second Coming

as King of Kings,

Lord of Lords, when

"That at the name of Jesus

every knee should bow...

...and every tongue confess

that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father."

every knee shall bow and

every tongue confess

that Jesus Christ is the Lord, 

why not do so now?

For in the coming of that 

collective confession, it will

mean much less to kneel down

Family is Everything... 

So begins the magical week between

Christmas and New Year's...

the work of getting ready for

Christmas is over and the

family is together.

 Started today with

yummy breakfast of

biscuits  'n gravy breakfast...

Jess and Michael...

Pono, Ashley, and Shawn...

Janie and Grama...

Sorted through my Christmas stocking...

Fun stuff. Thank you, Santa!

Just hung out today...

then the family went swimming

at a natural hot springs...

Then had 5 pizzas...

For the 15 there...

had 5 pieces left.

Isaac, Ashley, Michael, Jess...

Diesel, Katie, Janie, Shawn, Isaac...

Pono, Heidi, Grama...

Michael, Aimee, Parker, Taitum...

We then played a game where 

you write two things about yourself

that you think no one knows about you.

It was fun to see who everyone guessed.

       We also played Scattergories. It was

        harder than I remembered, but fun

         with a lot of laughs. Interesting to see

          what everyone comes up with.

               at doubles and triples.

Then a special Sunday dinner

of prime rib roast.

 

** *I am so thankful for The Plan of Salvation and the Atonement of  Jesus Christ that makes this Great Plan operational.

At the end of this December 27h,

I pray you have had a

restful , peaceful, and spiritual

Sabbath Day...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.
