I can't remember if this is the Tabernacle Choir or the Petuala Clark one from the 1969 movie "Goodbye, Mr. Chips."

Album: Goodbye, Mr. Chips
Fill The World With Love
In the morning of my life I shall look to the sunrise.
At a moment in my life when the world is new.
And the blessing I shall ask is that God will grant me,
To be brave and strong and true,
And to fill the world with love my whole life through.
(Chorus) And to fill the world with love
And to fill the world with love
And to fill the world with love my whole life through
In the noontime of my life I shall look to the sunshine,
At a moment in my life when the sky is blue.
And the blessing I shall ask shall remain unchanging.
To be brave and strong and true,
And to fill the world with love my whole life through
(Chorus)
In the evening of my life I shall look to the sunset,
At a moment in my life when the night is due.
And the question I shall ask only I can answer.
Was I brave and strong and true?
Did I fill the world with love my whole life through?
(Chorus) All lyrics are property and copyright of their owners.
Walt and I are definitely in the evening of our life.
Hope we have been brace, strong, and true!
Mr. and Mrs. Chips had no biological offspring, but said they had hundreds of children, "all boys."

We had a special Sacrament Meeting at home today. After Jackson blessed and passed the sacrament, Julie gave the "Come, Follow Me" for Alma 53-63, focusing on the Stripling Warriors. She showed this picture from the manual that depicts how young these "warriors" were.
She pointed that going back to school during the Covid pandemic can cause uncertainty, but they can rely on Heavenly Father to give them peace of mind.
Grampa wrote down goals in the four areas: Intellectual, Spiritual, Physical, and Social. We had a yummy summer Sunday Dinner: BBQ chicken, cheesy potaoes, corn on the cob, fresh pineapple, watermelon, rolls, and lemonade. Thanks to all who helped prepare it.
Maddie took our Sunday photo of us together.

Pres. and Sis. Petersen, I didn't know how else to reach you (hopefully you check your comments here), so I decided to comment on your blog! Yesterday Rick and I attended the Idaho Pocatello Zone Conference in Burley. We were introducing ourselves to several of the missionaries, among them was a handsome young Elder from Utah, who explained he was among the "recently reassigned" missionaries. He continued on to tell how Burley was the same place his grandparents lived for MANY years. We looked at his name tag and asked, "Elder Petersen, who are your grandparents?"....(You obviously have already figured out where this story is going!) Were we ever happy to fill him in on how much we love his grandparents for some of the following reasons: his Grandpa delivered all of our children and was the most caring doctor we've ever had...he was even available for a HOME visit between Sunday meetings when there was a sick baby... and Grandma was just as accommodating and kind (she even took pictures of a daughter being sutured one evening and then sent them on in the mail), sustaining her doctor and church leader husband. We also shared that the two of you have been the greatest examples of wearing out one's life in service! You really are two special people, who we still think about even though you have moved! Thanks for the many ways you have blessed our lives. We love you both and pray you are doing well! Love, Rick and Sherma Poteet
