Today Brewers went to Shoshone Falls while Walt did his pool therapy and I got a haircut.
Then they wanted us to take them around Wendell to show them the homes we lived in there, where we went to school, and other highlights of our growing up in this small Idaho town ot 1,300 population back in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s...
Here's where Parr's Meat Market was on the far right building on the corner...and to the left at the intersection is the tip of the roof where Albertson's Grocery Store was. (My sister just asked me about some of these Wendell stores last week.)
A Serendipity was driving up the lane to Mitchell and Karen Bunn's home and getting in on the horseshoeing, plus the kids, plus Jerry and Jen riding the horse. Josh had the added experience of getting shocked on the electric fence, which also shocked the horse he was petting.
You can see Lizzy on the horse between Jerry and Sarah.
