February 29, 2016 - Monday ~ ~

Our FHE was writing letters to the senior couple missionaries from our ward - Elder Darrell and Sister MaryAnn Roskelley, and Elder Mark and Sister LeAnn Fillmore.

The Roskelley's are in the Texas Ft. Worth Mission, serving in Kileen, Texas, teaching Institute and doing other great things.

The Fillmores are serving in the Guatemala Central Mission and in addition to working as the Executive Secretary to the Mission President, also working a day or two a week in the temple, plus

March 1, 2016 - Tuesday - Welcome Green
March did come in like a lamb...

next  We changed our red Valentine tablecloth for the green March St. Patrick's and shamrocks today.

Walt even had on a green shirt...as he was sorting his pills for the next two weeks.

March 2, 2016 - Wednesday

Our day to rendezvous at the temple with Dale and Connie.

 I wore green again.
It was our turn to choose where to have lunch...nine times out of ten we will choose Sizzler to get veggies and fruits.

March 3, 2016 - Thursday

On a warm afternoon, Walt raked some leaves...
...and worked on the fence.
I kept wearing green because I'm so happy that winter is pretty much over and it's almost Spring.
March 4, 2016 - Friday

It tickles us when Kathleen gets so excited when she connects one of Walt's Swedish ancestors on his Grandmother Nellie Katie Olson's line.  We appreciate her help so much each Friday morning for two hours.

Then Walt was back working outside on the fence.
I wore green again.  This is actually my St. Patrick's Day shirt that Jen gave me two years ago.
We had a serendipity when Janie called to say that Shawn, Sam, Michael, and she would be spending the night with us, diving from the State Basketball Tourney in Boise.

Shawn and Sam went right to bed when they arrived at 10:40 p.m. because they had to leave at 5:30 in the morning for a required Cedar Badge training meeting in Blackfoot.

Walt and Janie enjoyed some of the apple pie I was just taking out of the oven when they arrived.
[I did save two pieces for Shawn and Sam for when they returned the next day.]

This was the last of our apples from our tree last fall.

March 5, 2016 - Saturday

Janie reminded us of our tradition of having breakfast at Charlie's Café.
Janie got the Denver omlet...ham, cheese, onions.
Michael got a short stack...
Walt got biscits and gravy, and I had egg, hashbrowns, and toast.
