Mission Miracles have begun already...

Taylor, in the photo above, at her baptism April 9 represents each of our 32 precious grandchildren.

I am thankful for my eternal sweetheart, Walt Petersen, who presides with his priesthood in righteousness over our family.

In the photo above, Jacee, at her baptism, also represents each of our wonderful 32 grandchildren.

Lest we forget...we have started recording mission miracles from April 19, 2011...the day we entered President Eyring's office and received a call from the Prophet, thus the Lord, to go to the San Salvador El Salvador Temple for three years.

We can only speak in general generic terms here, but we know these mission miracles will continue on from the youngest grandchild in our family up the the eldest--my mother.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day with my wonderful Mother here with us. Below is her photo in 1962, at the age of 42.

Below is my sweet mother with our family in 1957 when I had just graduated from Wendell High School. We are in front of our home in Wendell that my Mom designed and Daddy remodeled and built on to. This is the Fall before they moved to Gooding at Christmastime.
My Mom, "Grama 'A' " has come to live with us. We are so happy to have her here with us until we leave for this call. Janice, Julie & John, Steve, David, Brian, and Janie helped with various details of her move from Highland Cove.

We are so thankful for all that my sister, Janice, has done for Mom all these years, and especially on an almost daily basis this past two years while Mom was living in Salt Lake City.

Our precious 91-y-o mother, known to our children as "Grama 'A' " will be tenderly and lovingly taken care of while we are gone. This is among the greatest of the mission miracles that has taken place.

Yes, every temple wedding is a Royal Wedding!

We are so surprised by this call. However, since we had already promised in our Endowment covenants to do all the Lord asks, the answer had been made years ago. The Lord is in charge, and we have already received several mission miracles.

We leave about July 20. The San Salvador El Salvador Temple will be dedicated Aug. 21. They want us there a month before the dedication.
