On this blog I share with family and friends my daily thoughts, doings, what interests me, and--at times--tributes to my eternal sweetheart, Walt, who graduated to heaven on 8-21-2020.

Dedicated to our seven children--Janie, Gary, Steve, David, Julie, Brian, Jen, their spouses, our 39 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and posterity to come.

Most of us thought

the play was fantastic!

Gary had a hard time

relating to the cast not

being like the cast of the

movie.

What is The Ruth?

The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater, affectionately known as The Ruth at doTERRA, is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility that is the new home of The Hale Center Theater Orem (HCTO). HCTO operated in Orem from 1990 to 2024. Our state-of-the-art facility officially opened its doors on January 4, 2025 on the doTERRA campus in Pleasant Grove.

Where did the name come from?

The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater is named after the original founders of the Hale Center Theater Orem. Ruth and Nathan also founded 3 other Hale family-founded theaters in the mountain west. Learn more about Ruth and Nathan Hale’s story

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  He loves us just as we are at this very moment.
