Sharon and Kaye shared

a chef salad.

The waitresses were very efficient.

She said Cal hasn't been

able to walk well  enough

to come to Church for a

month...

...and she just felt

like dressing up today.

A kind fellow took our

photo outside, but he got too

far back.

We always miss those who can't come.

Faye and Sue couldn't come because 

of recent surgeries. Prayers for

speedy and complete recoveries.

 Posted August 9, 2024 – 100^th Birthday broadcast set for Sep 9, 2024

 

A special birthday broadcast in honor of Church President Russell M. Nelson will be on Monday, September 9, 2024 — his 100th birthday — at 4 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time.

On June 1, President Nelson invited people to commemorate his 100th birthday by reaching out to “the one” in need, just as the Savior did (see Matthew 18), and post experiences on social media using #99+1. The 75-minute broadcast will celebrate the life and teachings of this latter-day prophet whose life and ministry continually exemplify God’s love for each of His children. Examples of what people around the world have done over the past 100 days to commemorate his birthday will be shared through stories from people who were “the one.”

“How thankful we are for a prophet of God, his inspired teachings, and his invitations to follow the Savior’s example of love and righteousness in all that we do,” said President Jeffrey R. Holland.

to check out that I

don't need nursing care.

When she found out I was

from Burley, Idaho she

told me she has won the

"Spudman Triathalon"

two times.

She really likes Burley.

She lives in American Fork.

Then Jayden came to finish

this week's home health

physical therapy.

It is good!

It was cloudy...

...then rained.

The Olympics continues

 to be exciting.

Table tennis is so fast paced! 

China got gold, of course.

Women's USA basketball team 

won over Belgium.

 Steve took me to Wilkinson Center at BYU to see Michael Fisher in a ballroom competition.

 

It was so fun to watch

Michael & Darby dance together.

Supper after at Olive Garden...

Delicious food...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.  

He loves us just 

as we are at this very moment. 

He knows what our potential is.

Jesus Christ came to earth as The Only Begotten of the Father and fulfilled the Atonement. He is the Redeemer of all.

I am thankful for the guidance of the Holy Ghost as the third member of the Godhead. 

Walt said to me once: "I look forward to thanking the Holy Ghost in person when I get to Heaven. I don't think we give Him enough credit for all He does."

Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.

President Russell M. Nelson is the Living Prophet today for all the world.

The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.  Because of the restored Temple Ordinances families can be sealed for eternity.

Of these truths I testify in the
