On this blog I share with family and friends my daily thoughts, doings, what interests me, and--at times--tributes to my eternal sweetheart, Walt, who graduated to heaven on 8-21-2020.Walt called himself "The last of the old-time country doctors."He delivered about 4,000 babies, among fixing broken hips, other surgeries, and even made house calls.As Janie said in his obituary:"He healed many hearts, heads, hands, and everything in-between."
In the 1950s you had to be 20 to serve a mission. This is Walt in August 1954, on the day he was set apart in Salt Lake City to be a missionary.

Occupational Therapist came...
He is so helpful...his speciality is
lymphodema, and he measures my
swollen legs and feet to see if they
are going down or swelling more.
they each went up 2 cenetimeters
tjis week.
Jayden, my home health physical
therapist, came this afternoon.
She is also so helpful.
She has me do feet exercises--
marching, balancing, walking.

Gary picked me up at 7:08
this morning to drive me to
my 8:40 a.m. appointment
at the U of U Hospital with
my Rheumatology APRN,
Lori Ly.
Azlynne checked my vitals
and updated my meds.
Gary said her name was same as the
gal in Narnia. She said that is who she
is named after.

Blood Drawers
Colin and
Lori Ly called this afternoon
to report the blood results were normal
so the RS3PE is stilln in remisson. She
said this means the swelling is from my
venous insiffieiency in my legs.
She couldn't get any blood when
she put the needle in what she thought
was a good vein in my right arm.
So she got Colin to come try.
He was successful.
I do not have good veins for
drawing blood any more.

Triathlon several times, placing first
in her age group.
