 Family is Everything...

Parker's Mom --

Marilyn Anderson | 1968 - 2024 | Obituary

February 25, 1968 - May 19, 2024 - Marilyn Nebeker Anderson, passed away from a short, but hard battle with cancer on May 19th, 2024 at the age of 56 surrounded by her family.                                 She was born February 25th, 1968 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Gary and Linda Nebeker. She was the third of six  children. She attended Murtaugh schools and graduated in 1986. Marilyn loved growing up on the farm in Murtaugh and going to the “Bit of Heaven” family cabin in the South Hills. She continued her education at Ricks College and Boise State University. While at Boise State she started dating Leon Anderson. It didn’t take long for these two to fall in love. She married Leon Anderson in the Logan Utah temple on February 15th 1991. Their marriage and love for each other has been highly admirable.

A couple of weeks before their first anniversary they welcomed their first boy Parker into their family. Three years later they had twin boys, Logan and Alan, and three years later they had Zachary.  Marilyn was the best boy mom. Together they taught their boys to be tough guys with the biggest hearts. She was her boys biggest fan at their football, basketball and baseball games.

Marilyn loved her daughter in laws Katie, Abby, Jodi and Kiernan. Marilyn was a fun and engaged grandma and cherished her six grandchildren Taitum, Diesel, Scottie, Cosette, Trey and Skye. Leon and Marilyn also enjoyed their time as empty nesters and going on adventurous rides together in their Honda Talon UTV.  She was a daredevil while driving it and handled it like a pro.

Later in life while raising her family, she finished her Bachelors degree and Medical Assistant certificate at BYU-Idaho. She loved her job working at the Madisonhealth Surgery Center and  Rexburg Surgery with Doctors Dwayne Hansen and Max Hansen’s office. She is known as the good IV lady with the cool hair.

Marilyn had an unwavering testimony of her Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a spiritual giant with a wild side. You could ask Marilyn for advice and know she would be honest with you. Marilyn served as the President of the Madison Athletic Club while her boys participated in high school sports. To honor her, the MAC has recently changed the name of their scholarships awarded to students to the “Madison Athletic Club Marilyn Anderson Memorial Scholarship”.

Marilyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her on this earth but we know was welcomed by loving family on the other side upon her passing.

A special thanks to those healthcare professionals at Rexburg Surgery, Madison Health Cancer Center, EIRMC, Idaho Cancer Center at EIRMC, Intermountain Anesthesia at EIRMC and Aspen Home Health and Hospice who provided Marilyn with loving, compassionate and expert treatment.

A viewing will be Monday, May 27th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Henry’s Fork Stake Center
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 28th at 11:00 am preceded by a viewing from 9:30-10:45 am. Henry’s Fork Stake Center 1508 West 3000 North Rexburg Idaho. Graveside service will be at Burton Cemetery.

The theatrical release poster depicts the characters Coco, Dante the dog, Miguel, Héctor, Ernesto, and Imelda, clockwise from the bottom left around the white Day of the Dead-styled guitar. The guitar has a calavera-styled headstock with a small black silhouette of Miguel, who is carrying a guitar, and the dog Dante at the bottom. The neck of the guitar splits the background with their village during the day on the left and at night with fireworks on the right.                Family is Everything…
 Today
· Bruce Beck posted on face book

Kelly Stegall Tannery

there are signs all around us most people just choose to not pay attention, you better start noticing the little things because soon the little signs turn into big signs and by then it’s all done with..

Has anyone noticed that on quarters the head usually faces towards IN GOD WE TRUST and on the new 2022 quarters he turns his back to IN GOD WE TRUST!

We need every head on everything to be turned towards God, now more than ever!

Amazing! Thank You!

His message today...

In 100 days, President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will celebrate his 100th birthday on Sept. 9 — and he is inviting Latter-day Saints worldwide to participate.

“I am soon approaching my 100th birthday,” President Nelson wrote in a social media post on Saturday, June 1. “One of the places where the Savior used the number 100 in the scriptures was the parable of the lost sheep. Though 99 of his flock were safely by his side, the shepherd went in search of the one who was lost.

“At age 99, I have no need of physical gifts,” he continued. “But one spiritual offering that would brighten my life is for each of us to reach out to ‘the one’ in our lives who may be feeling lost or alone.”

What could this spiritual offering look like? President Nelson invited all to prayerfully consider a few questions over the coming months:

  • “Who do you know who may be discouraged?”
  • “Who might you need to reconcile with or ask for forgiveness?”
  • “Has one name been on your mind lately, though you haven’t quite known why?”

As these questions are brought to the Lord, “He will inspire you to know how to reach out and lift one who needs help,” President Nelson wrote.

“What a beautiful example the Savior has shown us — that through each of us ministering to just one within our reach, we can spread the love of Jesus Christ throughout the world,” he concluded his social media post, using the hashtag #99plus1.

President Nelson’s life and ministry

President Nelson was born Sept. 9, 1924, in Salt Lake City to Marion C. and Edna Anderson Nelson. At age 93, President Nelson was set apart as the 17th President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Jan. 14, 2018, after serving 34 years in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

President Nelson is now the oldest President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as the longest-living apostle in this dispensation. He was a world-renowned heart surgeon and medical researcher before entering full-time Church service in 1984.

In 1945, he married Dantzel White; they are the parents of 10 children. She died in 2005. In 2006, he married Wendy L. Watson, who has since been at his side in his ministries as an Apostle and now Church President.

As the leader of more than 17 million Latter-day Saints worldwide, President Nelson has traveled to 35 nations, changed Church organizationutilized technology, led the Church through a pandemic and built bridges of understanding.

He has issued several faith-building invitations for Latter-day Saints to come closer to the Savior and help others do the same by thinking celestialbeing a peacemakergathering Israelletting God prevailending personal conflictsincreasing spiritual capacity and focusing on the temple.

A delicious Sunday Dinner...

At the end of this June 2nd,

I pray you have had a

restful , peaceful, and spiritual

Sabbath Day...

I share these truths as my testimony to you...

Heavenly Father lives and knows us each by name. He loves us and wants us to return to Him and Heavenly Mother when we leave this mortal existence.
He loves us just
as we are at this very moment.
He knows what our potential is.

Jesus Christ came to earth as The Only Begotten of the Father and fulfilled the Atonement. He is the Redeemer of all.

I am thankful for the guidance of the Holy Ghost as the third member of the Godhead.
Walt said to me once: "I look forward to thanking the Holy Ghost in person when I get to Heaven. I don't think we give Him enough credit for all He does."

Joseph Smith was foreordained to be the Prophet of the Restoration.  He is the Restorer of all things.

The Bible is "the Word of God as far as it is translated correctly" and is a Testament of the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
*** *** ***
The Book of Mormon is the Word of God and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the most correct book of any book on earth.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the earth today.  Because of the restored Temple Ordinances families can be sealed for eternity.
