We had a very nice, simple 48th wedding anniversary...
Walt took me out to dinner on Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning, June 14, I gave Walt a love letter, and a gigantic Lindt Swiss Premium Chocolate bar, with "I love you more than all the gold and chocolate in the universe," written on it.
Walt gave me a dozen beautiful red roses, and a sweet teddy bear with a heart saying "Te Amo."
Our friends, Elder y Hermana Wall had us over for an early evening Sunday anniversary dinner that was delicious! Yesterday I shared the Stake Conference happenings.
Some of our kids were able to call. It was truly a perfect day. Now we're goin' for the gold in two years...but by then we hope we'll still be able to dance on our "Golden Wedding Day."
"Oh how we danced on the night we were wed." Maybe we will be able to still do a shuffle when we're 77 and 72 on June 14, 2011.

Happy Anniversary!
Cute, cute, cute, and romantic! You two are the cutest!
This is Stefanie hunter from your Burley ward. I think you will remember me. I was reading through your posts and saw a picture of you with sister Bowen. She is the mother of one of my dearest friends. If you see her please tell her hello from me. i just love that family! Also I wanted to thank you for letting us live in your house it would have been such a wonderful thing for us. We are excited to move to Idaho Falls but so sad to leave Burley and this ward. Congrats on 48 years that is amazing! By the way. I just love Julie she was always so fun at volleyball and at church she always had such a warm smile for everyone.
